Friday 28 ETTORE CARUCCI TRIO

SPECIAL GUEST : PHILIP CATHERINE

Admidst the Italian Jazz Landscape there are emerging a new generation of musicians that are exploring the innate vocabulary of musicality that suggests a succint commentary on the exciting new realism of Italian Jazz.
Featuring an assured blend of original compositions, Ettore Carucci reflects the sense of restraint and integrity that many of the young players in Italy seem to embody and 'The Quiet release (Album Outakes) embodies this sense of the new Italian cool. It's the next point from the Dolce Vita into a more restraint realism representing a very honest view of the Italian musical sensibility.

Aldo Vigoritto (Italy) (double bass)
Ettore Carucci (Italy) (piano)
Marcello Nisi (Italy) (drums)
