Chama, born in La Havana/Cuba and stranded in Belgium since quite a while, has become one of the foremost bassplayers/ singers on the scene. He formed the band Chamaquiando, and brings deliciously contagious rhythms of 'son', Merengue or Cumbias.

Italian bassplayer Marco Bardoscia (1982) presents his album as a leader “OPENING”. Born in 1982, he has quickly established himself as one of the foremost young musicians in Italy, and wins the prize of young talent to go and study at the Berklee College of Music. He has collaborated with Paolo Fresu, Gianluca Petrella, and many others. A fine quartet where Bardoscia shows he is not only a fine sideman but also a great leader.
