Pascal Schumacher is a confirmed representative of the new generation of jazz musicians. He surrounds himself with the strongly talented German piano player Franz von Chossy and with the excellent rhythm section composed of the Belgian double bass player Christophe Devisscher and the German drummer Jens Düppe. Up to now the band was playing on 5 continents and in many countries reaching the hearts of thousands of people. In April 2009 the fourth album Here we Gong was released on ENJA Records. Music rich of imagination and expression, filled with altering emotions, going from soothing to violent, always with passion. | ||

Jef Neve & Nicolas Kummert, two of the most lyric musicians of the young generation in Belgian jazz unite with a typical American rhythm section showing us their very ‘groovy’ and ‘funky’ side. To sit still will be impossible. Especially if you know who is behind it: on bass one of the most asked ‘cats’ of the moment, the drummer’s name has become a household word on the New York’s jazz scene, the saxophonist made the ‘Ministry of Sound’ in London dance and the Belgian jazz pianist of the moment returning to his first love: the Hammond organ… In preparation of the CD “Groove Thing” LIVE” , recorded at the AB during two magic nights - for it’s release on PROVA Records. The young guitarist Julien Tassin teams up with some of the foremost Belgian musicians, and the result is stunning. Influenced by Jimi Hendrix or Scofield, Tassin has a strong soulful style and his solos are truly captivating. With Manu Hermia on sax and a great rhythm section this band reaches beyond jazz and appeals to a broad public. | ||
